Tom Krouse, president and chief executive officer of Donatos Pizza, announced the appointment of Thomas G. Pendrey as chief operating officer for the Columbus, Ohio–based pizza chain. Pendrey brings over 20 years of senior level experience in the areas of strategic planning, operations, financial management, sales and marketing, and production optimization to Donatos.  

“We are so fortunate to bring Tom Pendrey into the Donatos Family,” Krouse says. “He is a highly accomplished industry professional who will assume a key leadership role in our company. We look forward to Tom bringing his talents to enhance our performance and build our momentum in company and franchise revenues and profits.”

Pendrey most recently served as vice president and general manager of the Gross & Jarson Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Columbus, Ohio, where he was recognized for exemplary results. Formerly, he was the president and COO of Southeastern Companies Inc. in Tampa, Florida, and has held key account positions with Johnson and Johnson. Pendrey holds a B.S.B.A degree from Bowling Green State University as well as an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is active in the community serving on a number of boards including The Columbus Sports Commission and Lacrosse the Nations of Ohio. His dedication to sustainability has resulted in a number of awards, including the City of Columbus Mayor’s Award for Top Business in Sustainability.
