Duck Donuts, known for serving made-to-order donuts, is rolling into the new year with a limited-time topping that has never been offered by the company before. Available until March 31, Duck Donuts is introducing a tasty toffee crunch topping made with HEATH. The English toffee taste and subtle nutty undertone topping is also featured in the Cozy Combinations Assortment, along with classics such as vanilla icing with chocolate drizzle, chocolate icing with chocolate sprinkles, and more.

“When guests taste one of our warm, made-to-order donuts, we want to invoke the nostalgia of what it was like to be a kid coming inside for a sweet snack, after a day of playing in the snow,” saus Russ DiGilio, founder and CEO of Duck Donuts franchising company. “We think our toffee crunch topping encapsulates that feeling seamlessly.”

Most stores are offering new winter espresso drinks, including the Churro Fluff Latte and the Toffee Bar Mocha, with the fan-favorite Horchata White Mocha and Cookie Butter Chai Latte continuing from the holiday season.  The Churro Fluff Latte offers a taste of cinnamon spice with layers of velvety marshmallow fluff, while the Toffee Bar Mocha suggests a rich chocolaty taste with a remarkably nutty crunch. In addition, all locations are still highlighting the seasonal Winter Roast coffee, a blend of Central and South American beans medium roasted, boasting a sweet butterscotch flavor layered with notes of hazelnut and whiskey.

Duck Donuts specializes in warm, made-to-order donuts. Customers can create their own donut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles and more adventurous creations such as maple icing with bacon. The family-friendly stores offer a viewing area where children and adults alike can watch their donuts being made. Duck Donuts also sells coffee, tea, donut breakfast sandwiches and now offers online ordering in many locations. There are now 77 open franchise locations and more than 140 additional contracts in 25 states and two countries.
