    Industry News | August 23, 2013

Dunkin’ Donuts and its franchisees in the Greater Philadelphia region are proud to announce the 25 area students selected as recipients of the fourth annual Dunkin’ Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program.

Dunkin’ Donuts is awarding a total of $25,000 to local students selected based on a positive academic record, demonstrated leadership ability, and commitment to both their schools and communities. Each student receives a $1,000 scholarship to pursue a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school this fall.

“On behalf of Dunkin’ Donuts and the franchisees in the Greater Philadelphia Region, I would like to congratulate the 25 recipients of the 2013 Dunkin’ Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program,” says Perry Shah, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee and chairman of the Dunkin’ Donuts advertising committee for the Greater Philadelphia market. “Four years ago, this program was created to help support the regional communities we are proud to serve. We wish these young men and women success as they continue in their academic careers.”

The Dunkin’ Donuts scholarship program is managed by Scholarship America—the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.

The 2013 recipients were selected by Scholarship America from thousands of applications. The program was open to high school seniors living in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Kent and New Castle Counties in Delaware who met certain academic and community criteria.
