Dunkin’ Brands, home to two of the world’s most recognized brands, announced the opening of two Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants and one Baskin-Robbins shop at the newly renovated Dallas Love Field Airport.

A joint venture led by premier travel retailer Hudson Group will operate the new locations.

The first Dunkin’ Donuts opened on March 28 in the pre-security meet and greet level, and the second opened on April 16 in the post-security main entrance area.

The Baskin-Robbins shop also opened on April 16, next to Gate 8.

With these openings, Dunkin’ Brands has 94 locations in 34 airports across the country and has plans to open nine more this year.

“Airports continue to be a strong growth area for Dunkin’ Brands, and Hudson Group has been a valued partner of ours since opening their first Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant at the Philadelphia Airport in 2011,” says Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of development, Dunkin’ Brands. “Together with Hudson Group, we’re prepared for the rush of travelers stopping by wherever their busy schedules may take them.”

The company’s growth in alternate locations, such as airports, mass transit stations, travel centers, supermarkets, college campuses, and military bases, continues to be a focal point for expansion in 2013.

Over the next few months, Dunkin’ Brands plans to open locations at Great Wolf Lodge, Denver International Airport, Sheppard Air Force Base, New York City’s Port Authority Bus Terminal, Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport Terminal E, and Philadelphia International Airport Terminal A, among others.

“Our team is delighted for the opportunity to continue providing unparalleled service to the employees and travelers of Dallas Love Field Airport, where we have operated for the past 18 years,” adds Joe DiDomizio, president and CEO of Hudson Group.
