Dunkin' Donuts Heads West to Utah

Utah can finally breathe a sigh of relief! The long awaited opening of the first Dunkin’ Donuts at 217 East 400 Street in Salt Lake City is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 4:30 a.m. But, for guests who can’t wait and want a sneak preview of the new store there will be a VIP Party on Monday, June 24, with free samplings of Munchkins and iced or hot coffee for guests who stop in between 6 a.m.-9 a.m. The new Dunkin’ Donuts is conveniently located across the street from The City Library.


Sizzling Platter LLC completely remodeled a former Burger King restaurant which includes a handy drive-thru. “America runs on Dunkin' is our tag line, and for years those on the East coast have enjoyed their Dunkin' favorites. Now we are excited to introduce the west and more specifically Salt Lake City to an array of all day options,” says Ted Morton, Sizzling Platter CEO. “From your first cup of iced or hot coffee (with a sweet indulgence) to our amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches, we believe it's a perfect fit for those on the go, or who want a comfortable break in their day. So to Salt Lake City we say, ‘Stop in for a visit. We love to make new friends.’"


Sizzling Platter LLC, a Utah based restaurant management company will open this location and has additional Dunkin’ Donuts sites planned for the Wasatch Front. Dunkin’ Donuts offers many products from famous pastries to popular sandwiches and coffee and tea drinks. This new store will feature a 24-hour drive-thru and daily lobby hours of 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
