Today Dunkin’ Donuts and Home Depot announced the opening of a full-service Dunkin’ Donuts store within a Home Depot.

The debut store is located at 80 Buckland Hills Drive in Manchester, Conn. A second location is scheduled to open at the end of August in South Attleboro, Massachusetts. A third is also planned.

Dunkin’ Donuts will lease space in the “Pro” section of Home Depot, an area dedicated to professional builders and contractors. All shoppers will be able to enjoy the 220-square foot, full-service unit, complete with seating and Internet access. The location will serve a full range of Dunkin’ Donuts products, from hot and cold coffee beverages to baked goods and breakfst sandwiches.

Dunkin’ Donuts and Home Depot selected the test sites based on location and steady customer volume. In 2003, both companies will assess the success of the partnership and determine additional expansion plans.
