Dunkin' Kicks Off Fall With Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich

With football season nearly ready to kick off, Dunkin’ Donuts is making it easy for breakfast lovers to enjoy a taste of weekend tailgating any time of day, any time of week, no stadium or parking lot necessary. Dunkin’ Donuts today announced the newest addition to its all-day breakfast item for fall, the Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich, officially available for a limited time at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants beginning August 31. 

Dunkin’ Donuts’ Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich serves up the spirit of great game day grilling to guests, featuring the mouthwatering combination of an egg, reduced fat Cheddar cheese, and juicy split-smoked sausage topped with fire-roasted peppers and grilled onion mix and Ancho Chipotle sauce on an oven-toasted French Roll. Guests needn’t wait until a weekend to enjoy the flavor of tailgating, as the new Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich—like all Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast sandwiches—is served any time of day, all week long. 

August is National Sandwich Month, and to celebrate this and the launch of the new Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich, Dunkin’ Donuts is giving people an opportunity to show their support for enjoying breakfast whenever they want, with a special “Breakfast Whenevs” sweepstakes. Today and tomorrow, fans can share via Twitter or Instagram why they enjoy breakfast any time of day, along with hashtags #BreakfastWhenevs and #Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes begins each day at 11:01 a.m. (the end of traditional breakfast hours) and continues to 8 p.m. One Breakfast Whenevs sweepstakes grand prize winner will receive a year’s worth of Dunkin’ Donuts’ breakfast sandwiches, and an additional 10 winners each day will be rewarded with $50 mGifts so they can enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast sandwiches and other favorite brand menu items throughout the rest of National Sandwich Month and beyond.

With several breakfast sandwich choices featuring favorites such as cherrywood smoked bacon, sausage, aged Cheddar cheese, freshly baked croissants, and bagels or toasted English Muffins, Dunkin’ Donuts provides satisfying options for guests to start the morning and keep running any time of day as well. Dunkin’ Donuts also offers a full lineup of bakery sandwiches, available all day.

Finally, as August winds down, Dunkin' Donuts restaurants are offering a special mobile coupon for $1-off a box of K-Cup Pods, distributed to guests through the DD Mobile App, as well as via email to Dunkin’ UpDDate and DD Perks subscribers. Guests who aren't enrolled in the DD Mobile App can download it now to receive the coupon. The coupon can only be used at Dunkin' Donuts restaurants and will expire on September 15. Dunkin' Donuts K-Cup Pods come in a range of varieties, including Original Blend, Dark Roast, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Dunkin’ Decaf, all for use with the Keurig Single-Cup Brewing system.
