Dunkin' Launches Royal Treatment Twitter Sweepstakes

In honor of the birth of the royal baby, Dunkin' Donuts is giving its fans the royal treatment with a special Twitter sweepstakes for the chance to win a trip for two to London, England. Beginning today and continuing tomorrow, Dunkin' Donuts is asking followers of @DunkinDonuts to share who in their life deserves to be treated like royalty. Everyone who tweets an answer using the special hashtag #DDRoyalTreatment will be entered to win one of five $50 mGift prizes. One grand-prize winner will receive a four-day, three-night trip for two to London, complete with airfare, hotel accommodations, and $500 cash.

No purchase is necessary, but participants must be 21-plus and a legal resident of the U.S. or District of Columbia to enter.

Under the leadership of Dunkin' Brands CEO and chairman Nigel Travis, a dual U.S. and British citizen born and raised in Woodford, Essex, Dunkin' Donuts and sister brand Baskin-Robbins have celebrated royal family milestones in recent years. In 2011, Dunkin' Brands commemorated the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton with a Dunkin' Donuts Royal Wedding Donut and a Baskin-Robbins Royal Wedding Ice Cream Cake. To celebrate the birth of Prince George in 2013, Dunkin' Donuts unveiled a new Royal Munchkin, with Baskin-Robbins offering a Royal Baby signature ice cream cake.

There are currently 11 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in England.  Dunkin' Donuts is also the official coffee, tea, and bakery partner for Liverpool Football Club, one of the world's most historic and famous football clubs, while Baskin-Robbins is the official ice cream partner.
