David Crabtree, president and CEO of Planet Hollywood Group of Companies, announces Steve Heeley has joined the Earl of Sandwich brand as president and chief executive officer.

"As we embark on our tremendous growth phase, I am delighted that Steve has joined the company,” Crabtree says. “His vast experience with growing other brands in the fast casual restaurant segment will be key to our future success. With his strong operations and leadership background, Steve has the experience and drive that will prove invaluable as we continue to grow Earl of Sandwich."

Heeley has more than 20 years of experience developing, operating, and successfully growing fast casual restaurants. He most recently served as the chief operating officer of Au Bon Pain, a fast casual bakery and café chain with more than 300 locations.

Before joining Au Bon Pain, Heeley spent seven years as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Baja Fresh Mexican Grill.
