There’s a new kid on the 3600 block of Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh! Hello Bistro, the latest Eat’n Park Hospitality Group restaurant, will celebrate the grand opening of its first location in Oakland on June 28.

With a tagline of “Burgers. Salads. Together…” the restaurant offers the best of Eat’n Park in an urban, casual, street-front setting where guests can eat in or get it to go. Beer and wine also will be available.

“You might say that Hello Bistro was 63 years in the making,” says Mark Broadhurst, director of concept development at Eat’n Park. “Eat’n Park has been a Pittsburgh institution since 1949. Hello Bistro takes the best of Eat’n Park–our salad bar and burgers–and kicks in a few new items that will surprise people, including wine and beer.”

It’s all about you. That’s the Hello Bistro way. Guests can design their own salads from more than 55 fresh ingredients or get grilled-to-ordered burgers. The restaurant features a Guest Recipe Board where visitors can name their customized salads and post their recipe to the board. The best recipes will be featured as the Hello Bistro salad special.

“We make eating at Hello Bistro a fun, interactive experience that has some attitude,” Broadhurst says. “Dining at Hello Bistro will never be the same experience twice.”

The new concept joins the company’s other new restaurant in Oakland, The Porch at Schenley.

The first Hello Bistro is located at 3605 Forbes Avenue in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh. Eat’n Park is currently evaluating sites for future locations.
