Eat’n Park Restaurants and its team members are kicking off the 30th Annual Caring for Kids Campaign in all restaurant locations today. Their goal is to raise more than $320,000 during the four week campaign, breaking the $7 million mark in total contributions to children’s charities since the campaign’s inception.
According to Jeff Broadhurst, CEO and president, Eat’n Park, team members and guests have raised more than $6.6 million for local children’s hospitals since the inception of the Caring for Kids program 30 years ago.
Guests can purchase a $2 raffle ticket for the chance to win a 2009 Mercury Mariner SUV, donated by the Pittsburgh Lincoln Mercury Dealers Association, at all Eat’n Park restaurants, Park Classic Diners and select Parkhurst Dining locations. Eat’n Park team members hope to sell more than 70,000 raffle tickets this holiday season.
In addition to the Mercury Mariner raffle, guests may also purchase Smiley magnets or Smiley key chains for $2. All proceeds benefit the Caring for Kids campaign, which will run through December 15.
