Edible announced it has signed an agreement in Danville with esteemed multi-brand operator Paresh Suthar.

With 1,000-plus locations nationwide, Suthar joins the company with plans to open a brand-new strip mall equipped with an Edible store, Which Wich Sandwich shop and a Pie Five Pizza restaurant. All will be located at 114 Sandy Court and are set to open in spring 2021.

“As an experienced business operator, I was looking for an opportunity that would diversify my portfolio and positively contribute to the Danville community as I set plans to build a new strip mall,” says Paresh. “Edible was the perfect brand to join as I have always been a fan of the concept and from an owner’s standpoint, the omni-channel services and the robust product offerings make for an ideal investment. I’m looking forward to joining the Edible® community and launching into ownership with a brand that has a model proven for success.”

Suthar has been a business owner for 30 years, operating the Super 8 hotel in Danville and Cavalier Pharmacare in Martinsville. Bringing his management expertise, Suthar will operate the new store alongside his general manager and manager with plans to hire another 6-8 employees for the new Edible store.

“Edible consistently attracts franchise operators with outstanding ownership experience that help drive the brand’s expansion across the nation and Paresh is no exception,” says Patricia Perry, Vice President of Franchise Development. “Operating a variety of business concepts for 30 years, I am confident he will be successful in leading the new Danville location. Paresh’s agreement adds to Edible’s strong presence in the state with more than 30 stores already open.”
