The Egg & I Restaurants, a Denver-based breakfast and lunch franchise with 43 restaurants open and 15 more currently in development, presented its high-achieving franchisees with awards and recognition at its franchisee award ceremony held in Denver on March 1st.

The top two awards presented were the Franchisee of the Year award and the Unsung Hero award.
The Franchisee of the Year award honors the franchisee that exemplifies excellence in all areas of restaurant operations. The winner demonstrates a drive for success, passion for the brand, extraordinary guest service, and local community involvement. This year’s recipient was Rich Yoke of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Rich Yoke operates three The Egg & I Restaurants located in Centennial, Highlands Ranch, and Parker, Colorado.
The Unsung Hero award recognizes the franchisee that demonstrates the principles and values of The Egg & I Restaurant brand while delivering results, demonstrating commitment to the brand, and focusing on unwavering success. Bob McGurk, Sr. and Bobby McGurk, Jr. in Birmingham, Alabama, received the Unsung Hero award for their numerous contributions and leadership. The McGurks currently operate one The Egg & I Restaurant in Hoover, Alabama with a second under development in Montgomery, Alabama.
