Entrepreneur Phil Rice in Charlotte, North Carolina, opens the doors of his newest Einstein Bros. Bagels (located at 13736 Conlan Circle in Charlotte) on April 17 at 5:30 a.m., presenting the first 100 guests in line with a free breakfast.
“I can’t think of a better way to showcase the freshness and quality of our breakfast sandwiches to the local community,” Rice says. “I am excited to offer a restaurant that will impress new and longtime Einstein Bros. Bagels fans with fresh menu options and a vibrant dining atmosphere.”
Situated in front of the Ballantyne office park across from the Ballantyne Hotel, this opening marks the fourth Einstein Bros. Bagels that Rice owns and operates in the Charlotte area. He opened his third Einstein Bros. location two weeks ago in Myers Park.
Rice’s expansion plans include opening 11 more restaurants in the coming years throughout Charlotte and Nashville. Each of Rice’s new restaurants contributes to the economic landscape through local business and construction developments while employing upwards of 80 full and part-time staff members.
Rice is no stranger to quick-service restaurants. He has been in the food business for the last 10 years. Most recently, he oversaw a popular chain of restaurants, managing the daily operations of eight franchise locations.
