Einstein Bros. Bagels announced it is testing a new first-of-its-kind bagel innovation, the Bagelrito. Pushing the boundaries of the classic bagel, Einstein Bros. Bagels has taken it to the next level with a new spin on the classic breakfast burrito. The new Bagelrito is a substantial breakfast chock-full of flavor that’s easy to eat on the go. It’s loaded with two cage-free eggs, thick-cut bacon, turkey sausage, three cheeses, hash browns, salsa and green chilies in a flour tortilla, all hand-wrapped in Asiago bagel dough and baked fresh.

The Bagelrito will be available at five test locations in the Denver area for a limited time, including:

  • 555 N Broadway in Denver
  • 8246 W Bowles Ave. in Littleton, Colo.
  • 120 Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood, Colo.
  • 14401 West Colfax Ave. in Lakewood, Colo.
  • 9392 Sheridan Blvd. in Westminster, Colo.

On Friday, October 18, Einstein Bros. Bagels is calling all bagel and burrito lovers to experience the Bagelrito at the Denver test stores and share their feedback. All guests who order a Bagelrito by 10 a.m. at any test location will be entered to win free bagels and shmear for an entire year, with one winner per location. In addition, Bagelrito purchasers can fill out a survey about the product in exchange for a free egg sandwich on their next visit, so everyone is a winner.

“As the ‘King of Bagels’, we are constantly pushing the envelope and testing boundaries when it comes to menu innovation to meet guest expectations, and we’ve found the Bagelrito to be the best of both bagel and burrito worlds,” says Chad Thompson, Chief Baker and VP of Menu Innovation at Einstein Bros. Bagels. “The Bagelrito is portable and hearty enough to fill you up. It’s the first breakfast item to truly disrupt the category, rivaling the classic breakfast burrito and I can’t wait for everyone to try it.”
