El Pollo Loco announced that it is bringing back its Chicken Tamales, to be available through New Years.

El Pollo Loco’s Chicken Tamales are filled with spiced chicken simmered in a Colorado chili sauce infused with Mexican herbs and spices. The tamales are formed by hand with cooked corn masa prepared with real Meseca, wrapped in cornhusks, and served with a choice of fresh salsas. They are sold individually and in quantities of four and 12 Chicken Tamales. El Pollo Loco also offers a Tamale Plate featuring two Chicken Tamales, topped with Colorado chili sauce and jack and cheddar cheeses, served with rice and pinto beans.

Also available for catered parties and gatherings are crowd-pleasing favorites including El Pollo Loco’s Mexican Caesar Salad, Buffaloco Wings, Chicken Tamales, Ultimate Grilled Burritos, Tacos al Carbon, and Chicken Taquitos with guacamole. Each catering order comes complete with serving and eating utensils, napkins, and plates.
