El Pollo Loco Fires Up New Chicken Burritos

El Pollo Loco launched a new line of burritos featuring the company’s signature citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken. The Grill Masters prepare El Pollo Loco’s chicken over an open flame and hand-chop it for each of the new burritos, available for a limited time.

The new line of Fire-Grilled Chicken Burritos includes the following:

  • Fajita Burrito – Fire-Grilled Chicken, fajita vegetables, sour cream, cheese, black beans, rice, poblano salsa
  • Chipotle Avocado Burrito – Fire-Grilled Chicken, avocado, sour cream, chipotle salsa, cheese, pinto beans, rice, cabbage
  • Wet Burrito – Fire-Grilled Chicken, jack cheese, pinto beans, rice, cabbage, pico and creamy cilantro wrapped in a burrito, smothered in enchilada sauce and cotija
  • Crunch Burrito – Fire-Grilled Chicken, cheese, pinto beans, rice, cabbage, tortilla strips, pico, creamy cilantro

“Our citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken is the foundation of our menu and what truly sets us apart from other restaurant concepts. Our Grill Masters meticulously prepare our chicken, grilling it over and open flame for nearly an hour to bring out the flavor of our special citrus marinate,” says CMO Ed Valle. “We’re excited to add a full line of burritos that highlight the flavor of our flame grilled chicken and offer four distinct options to please our customers.”
