El Pollo Loco announced a new line of Authentic Platters, available for a limited time at participating restaurants. Featuring fresh ingredients and hearty flavors, the platters highlight El Pollo Loco’s signature citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken and are each served with a side of rice and beans.

“We are continually innovating our limited time offers to give fans new, high quality options that accentuate our delicious grilled chicken and provide a great value,” says Ed Valle, Chief Marketing Officer at El Pollo Loco. “Our new Authentic Platters resemble home cooking at its best and will surely delight guests with their flavorful ingredients and savory combinations.”

The new line of Authentic Platters includes the following options:

  • Double Chicken Enchilada Platter: Two enchiladas with shredded ranchero chicken, cheese and topped with chicken, avocado, cheese, enchilada sauce, cotija, cilantro, creamy cilantro
  • Two-piece Chicken and Salad Platter: Two pieces of chicken, tortillas, salad topped with cotija, tortilla strips, creamy cilantro, pico de gallo
  • Quesadilla Platter: Chicken, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, onions, pico de gallo, poblano salsa
  • Wet Burrito: Chicken, cheese, rice, cabbage, enchilada sauce, cilantro, pico de gallo

With more than 470 company-owned and franchised restaurants in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas and Utah, El Pollo Loco is expanding its presence in key markets through a combination of company and existing and new franchisee development.
