El Pollo Loco announced the introduction of four new Layered Avocado Salads, available for a limited time. The new salads feature fresh ingredients, including ripe avocado and El Pollo Loco’s signature citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, layered together to create colorful and nutritious menu items.

“As we develop new menu items, we focus on the full experience including flavors, textures and even how they will be packaged and consumed. Our new layered salads are featured in a portable, see-through bowl that highlights the layers of creamy avocado and crisp ingredients that complement each other for a refreshing and crave-worthy meal,” says Ed Valle, chief marketing officer at El Pollo Loco. “Guests are often looking for flavorful, exciting new items that also meet their lifestyle, so we’re excited to launch this new line that offers a fun twist on the classic salad.” 

The new line of Layered Avocado Salads includes the following:

Chicken Fajita Layered Salad—Chicken, avocado, fajita vegetables, cheddar cheese, black beans, pico de gallo

Double Chicken California Layered Salad—Double Chicken, avocado, cheddar cheese, black beans, tortilla strips, pico de gallo

Shrimp Mango Avocado Layered Salad—Shrimp, avocado, mango salsa, cotija, rice, cilantro

Tossed Chicken Kale Caesar Layered Salad—Chicken, avocado, kale, cotija, tortilla strips tossed in Caesar dressing
