Electro Freeze Promotes Kingler to Senior VP

Electro Freeze, a division of H.C. Duke and Son LLC, announced the promotion of Penny Klingler to senior vice president, international sales. “It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Penny to this newly developed position,” says Tom Hotard, president. “This focus on the global foodservice markets will strengthen our solutions for existing international customers and facilitate the expansion of our growing international sales with U.S. based chains.” Klingler will be responsible for directing the company’s sales, service, and support in all countries and regions outside the continental U.S. as well as all U.S. based chain export business.

“The dynamic development of popular American quick service restaurants outside the U.S. continues and we are expanding our reach with them to support the soft serve and frozen beverage product quality that is representative of their brands,” says Klingler. Most recently vice president of sales, Klinger has been a part of the Duke team for almost 25 years with a background in manufacturing, product development, training, service and sales. “Our existing international distributor network and service teams are enthusiastic about the emphasis we are placing on this business and I’m ready to augment our structure to realize the significant potential in the market.” Hotard will personally be taking control of domestic sales and service operations during the transition phase of the company’s global growth initiative.
