Elevation Burger CEO Hans Hess is the winner of the “Visionary” category in the Greater Washington Green Business Awards hosted by the Washington Business Journal and the Greater Washington Board of Trade. The Visionary category is designed for an individual who has made an outstanding and lasting impact on environmental awareness through his or her advocacy, conservation and preservation efforts. The new awards are meant to recognize individuals in the Greater Washington, D.C. area that are making efforts to incorporate environmentally sustainable practices into their businesses and community work. Hess was a keynote speaker at the seminar prior to the awards reception, which was held at a LEED Certified Gold facility in Washington, D.C.
