Elevation Burger, an organic burger concept, has signed three multiunit franchising deals, bringing 12 new units to New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. These three deals are in addition to the five corporate stores that Elevation Burger plans to open in the Washington, D.C. area by 2010.

“Our fresh, organic approach to burgers is what customers are looking for and we have all the right support for our company and our franchisees to be very successful,” says Elevation Burger Founder, Hans Hess. “I am really not surprised that we have received so much enthusiasm and interest in such a short amount of time- in fact, we already have a pipeline of 15 more franchised units over the next two months.”

Elevation Burger’s New Jersey franchisees, Back Deck LLC, will be opening five new units throughout the state in areas such as Hoboken, Red Bank, Montclair, Ridgewood, Middletown, and Madison. The franchisee’s (made up of a trio of investment and financial industry professionals) expects to open all units by 2013-the first in early 2009.

In the Washington, D.C metro area, there are two franchisees bringing seven units to areas such as Crystal City, Old Town Alexandria, Shirlington, Kingstown, Arlington, and several areas around George Washington University. Both franchisees expect to open their first unit by the end of 2008 or early January 2009.

Hess adds, “We are really excited about our new franchisees and look forward to our rapid expansion throughout the DC area, New Jersey and the mid-atlantic region.”
