Alice Elliot, CEO of The Elliot Group, announced today that Rodney Morris has joined the company as a senior vice president and search consultant.  With more than 25 years of human resources expertise in the restaurant industry, Morris comes to The Elliot Group from Ignite Restaurant Group where he recently served as senior vice president of human resources.

Morris’ extensive leadership track record encompasses expertise in all facets of human resources from emerging-growth concepts to high-growth corporations, working across the private, private equity, and public company domains.

Morris’ career has included working with restaurant groups such as Brinker International, Inc., Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and the Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp.

Morris is past chairperson of the Certification Governing Board for the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association (NRA).  He is a current member of the Board of Directors for both the National Diversity Council and TDn2K (formerly The People Report/Black Box Intelligence) and past president of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART).  During his tenure, his companies were recognized by Nation’s Restaurant News as the 2008 Spirit Award Winner in the category of Full Service and by The People Report as a 2003 Catalyst Award recipient.
