Former National Football League star and 2009 Pro Bowl starter, Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan, is opening a new I Love Juice Bar on January 14 at 9 AM, with a Nashville-style opening with concert ticket giveaways, sports memorabilia, country music everything … and prizes all day and all year long.

Monday’s event will include appearances by Chase Chrisley and Nanny Faye of the cast of the television show Chrisley Knows Best.

It will be the 11th location in the area for the national ‘boutique’ premium fresh juice and healthy smoothies franchise. Finnegan has been an investor for some time, but will be the owner at 5040 Carothers Pkwy Suite 105  in Franklin, his first location in the Music City area.

“We offer healthy, functional drinks and foods that taste amazing,” says Finnegan. “We only use 100 percent whole fruits and vegetables, with no added sweeteners, syrups or artificial flavors. People know us for our smoothies and juices, but they will also love our food options like our Pad Thai and Spring Rolls.”

“We’re also a great place to meet people or work remotely,” says Finnegan. “People will love our interior design, which is like an upscale boutique for premium juices and whole-foods.”

I Love Juice Bar continues to find receptive customers around the country, and today the franchise has locations in 14 states. The franchise opened its 50th location in September. It was again voted best Juice Bar by readers of the Nashville Scene in 2018.

The Nashville area is the franchise’s home. Founders John and Vui Hunt started their business after moving from Atlanta, where Vui owned and operated the vegetarian restaurant Veggieland. Shortly after moving to the city they purchased a sandwich shop that was for sale in Brentwood, Tennessee. Six weeks later they opened their doors to family, friends, and neighbors, and I Love Juice Bar was born.
