Among the first trendsetters with its contemporary cafeteria-style dining, Lemonade debuted the next generation of its acclaimed brand at the corner of Abbot Kinney and Venice Boulevards. Now open as “Lemonade at Abbot Kinney,” this marks the first in a rollout of next generation stores also designed to reflect the nuances and personality of its various neighborhood settings throughout California.

“Lemonade has been in growth-mode since its debut in West Hollywood in 2008 and now has 27 locations throughout California. The company is focused on further expansion and has invested in this next generation experience to capitalize on one of the most talked about fast casual brands,” says Larry Kurzweil, CEO. “Lemonade at Abbot Kinney will now feature state of the art LED menu monitors and all new entree food stations in addition to our signature a la carte selections that will enhance our guest’s experiences at both lunch and dinner.” Lemonade at Abbot Kinney is open daily at 11 a.m. with newly expanded evening hours to 10 p.m., and is now available for catering seven days a week.

Known for its delicious tasting 50-plus item menu, Lemonade at Abbot Kinney will showcase a new line up of custom crafted plates, including a carving station with gourmet roasted sous vide steak, chicken, and Ahi tuna dishes, along with all new entree salads and toasted sandwiches curated by Lemonade Founder and Executive Chef Alan Jackson. Aimed to expedite ease of ordering while also providing exceptional value, Lemonade’s Chef’s Seasonal Plate combinations will also include special selected meal plates in each of these three categories.

The new flagship will also feature convenient ready to grab-and-go meals, and an entire new line up of fresh cold-pressed lemonades.

Jackson says, “We have taken initiatives to segment our food stations more clearly, enhancing the guest experience and interaction with our team members. Our new menu is an exciting evolution of what the Lemonade brand is known for and allows our guests unsurpassed freedom of choices. While our Marketplace Salads remain the core of the menu and you still may order everything a la carte, I’ve added a whole new offering of hot meats and poultry centered around tender grilled steak, crispy succulent chicken, and seared line-caught tuna, a robust entrée salad program showcasing all new fresh leafy salads, and recreated the sandwich menu to highlight regions in California.

Located in the heart of Venice, Lemonade at Abbot Kinney features a sleek signature look that includes maple wood tables with communal seating, original artwork, custom-made light fixtures, and an outdoor patio, among other elements, creating a distinctive contemporary ambiance.

In addition to two locations opening in the Bay Area this summer, Lemonade plans to modernize several other Southern California locations and ready the company for further expansion later in the year.
