Onex Real Estate Partners recently announced the grand opening of local bakery chain, Fay Da Bakery, at Sky View Center, Queens’ newest regional multi-level mall.
The specialty bakery chain leased 1,650 square feet of retail space on Level B of the 800,000-square foot mall, which caters to a population density of over 750,000 people living within three miles.
“We are excited to welcome this successful local business to Sky View Center and offer another specialty food option to our shoppers,” says Michael Dana, President of Onex Real Estate Partners, owner/developer of Sky ViewCenter.
“We are confident that Fay Da’s new location and expansion to Sky View Center will continue their tradition of success and popularity in the downtown Flushing neighborhood.”
Fay Da Bakery was represented by Ricky Wong of Super Connection, Inc., while Sky View Center was represented in-house by Onex Real Estate Partners.

The opening of Fay Da Bakery comes at the heels of the Taiwanese tea chain, Coco Fresh Tea & Juice, which also opened this November.
The current roster of national and international tenants at Sky View Center include the 36,000-square-foot specialty Asian supermarket Sky Foods, as well as Five Guys Burger & Fries, Famous Footwear, Neighborhood Grill & Bar, Target (including a Starbucks and Pizza Hut Express), Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Marshall’s, Old Navy, Payless Shoesource, and Hershey’s Ice Cream.
Established in 1991 in Lower Manhattan, Fay Da Bakery boasts a variety of specialty baked and steamed breads and a wide selection of signature desserts including cheesecakes, mousse, sponge cakes, and tarts, with cookies made regularly.
The premium bakery chain now has locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and even one in East Brunswick, New Jersey and Mashantucket, Connecticut.
