Fired Pie, an Arizona-based fast-casual pizza restaurant, hired Abby Anderson as its new CFO. It has 15 locations in Arizona with three more slated to open by the end of this year. The fast-casual movement has continued to see an upward trend, and Fired Pie’s attention to fresh ingredients and customer service has helped it carve its own piece of the pie in this competitive food market.

Prior to joining Fired Pie, Anderson held financial management positions for a number of fast-growing companies, including Athletes Performance, NJOY, and Oreganos Pizza Bistro. She also held several accounting positions with P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. Anderson specializes in building financial and operational infrastructure to facilitate growth of both domestic and international companies and has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, profit-and-loss leadership, and mergers and acquisitions.

“It’s an exciting team to be a part of,” Anderson says. “Fired Pie is continuing to expand and show great success in Arizona.”

Also new to the Fired Pie family is Frederick Wolfe, who joins as a new board member and investor. Wolfe has previously served as COO and then CEO of Real Mex Restaurants, COO of California Pizza Kitchen, and president of Patina Restaurant Group. In 2013, Wolfe started his own company, Fred Wolfe Consultants, where he provided analytical, operational, personnel, and financial reviews for those in the restaurant industry.

“It’s a real honor to sit on the board for this locally-owned company,” Wolfe says. “Fired Pie is a great brand and is only going to continue to grow.”
