The first co-branded Marble Slab Creamery and Freshëns Quality Brands store opened in Woodland Hills, California. The co-branded concept is supported by NexCen Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXC) (“NexCen”), parent company of Marble Slab Creamery. NexCen recently entered into a co-branding agreement with Freshëns, a provider of freshly-blended fruit smoothies with more than 1,200 locations. The new store, located in the Woodland Hills Promenade, is owned and operated by Hamlet Ovsepyan.

“Freshëns smoothies offer a complementary product line to our ice cream franchise stores,” says Chris Dull, president of NexCen Franchise Management.” The franchisees are able to extend their product offering, providing customers with Marble Slab’s super premium ice cream and frozen treats, as well as a healthier alternative.”

By combining Marble Slab’s products with Freshëns smoothies, the new store will allow two brands to accommodate customers under one roof.

“We’re very excited to bring both Marble Slab and Freshëns to the Woodland Hills community, says Hamlet Ovsepyan, owner of the new store. “I think the two will prove to be a winning combination due to the quality products each brand has to offer.”
