Pizza Inn Inc. announced the opening of its newest buffet-style restaurant at 1249 Sunset Boulevard in Jesup, Georgia.
“We’re proud to build the first free-standing location of Pizza Inn’s new design in Georgia,” says Charlie Morrison, CEO of Pizza Inn. “We look forward to providing local residents with our freshly made pizzas, pastas, and other popular menu items at affordable prices.”
The Jesup restaurant is owned and operated by franchise veteran Ron Sluder and partners Cliff and Elaine Murphy and Brad Yeomans. While this is their first Pizza Inn franchise location, they previously owned additional franchise concepts in the Jesup area. According to Morrison, their knowledge of the industry makes them ideal candidates to bring the brand back to Jesup.
“We’re extremely excited about joining the Pizza Inn family and bringing the quality and value of Pizza Inn’s products back to Jesup,” Sluder says.
In an effort to increase domestic growth, Pizza Inn recently launched a development incentive program to entice franchisees otherwise discouraged by the current credit market. The incentive program offers a 50 percent reduction in the initial franchise fee, from $25,000 to only $12,500, a 50 percent reduction in royalties for year one, from 4 percent to 2 percent, and the same 50 percent reduction in royalties for year two, with years three and beyond at the standard 4 percent.
