First Watch Makes It “2 for You”

First Watch, the breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant based in Bradenton, Florida, announced the roll out of its new “2 for You” weekday lunch special in its restaurants.

Guests choose two items from a menu of half portions of some of First Watch’s most popular lunch offerings of sandwiches, salads, or soup for just $6.89. The special is available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

“We tested this special for an extended period of time and saw tremendous success,” says Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “Our customers have told us how much they enjoy the variety and the ability to choose two of their favorite items in smaller portions. We are very excited to roll this out systemwide and we’re confident that our customers in all of our markets will also appreciate the special.”

Sandwiches included in the special are the Reuben, Monterey Club, Al B. Core Tuna, and Cheese to the 5th Degree with Ham, Grilled Turkey, and Beefeater. The salads offered are the House, No. 5, Health Nut, Cobb, Pecan Dijon, and Santa Fe. First Watch’s house Tomato Basil soup and the soup of the day are also available.

First Watch has received more than 200 “Best Of” accolades. The menu features traditional favorites like pancakes, omelets, salads, and sandwiches as well as signature items such as the Chickichanga and Fresh Fruit Crepes.

First Watch is the largest and fastest-growing, privately owned, daytime-only restaurant chain in the U.S. Of its approximately 90 restaurants in 11 states, five are franchised and four are licensed. By the end of 2012, First Watch expects to grow to 115 restaurants, with about a dozen franchised locations open and more than 30 in various stages of development.
