Flame Broiler, known for serving simple, healthy and delicious rice bowls while on the go, continues its expansion with a new location in the city of San Juan Capistrano, in California. The addition will celebrate with an official grand opening on January 22, and feature specialty offers for the first three months of business. These offers include any bowl with a regular drink for $5.99 and tax, or any plate with a regular drink for $7.99 and tax.

This will be the first Flame Broiler location for the area, along with franchisees Rishi and Rupa Rathod, who are looking forward to introducing the local community to a healthy alternative.

“The San Juan Capistrano area has diversified foot traffic and nothing like Flame Broiler in the area,” says Rishi Rathod, Flame Broiler franchisee. “I am confident that the healthy, affordable and clean food Flame Broiler has to offer will be successful within our community, and am pleased to be a part of Flame Broiler’s mission of providing cleaner eating options.”

Flame Broiler’s core menu features rice bowls that start at only 140 calories. The bowls are made with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables, and topped with chopped green onions. For an added flavor kick, guests are invited to top bowls off with Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce or its Korean BBQ inspired Magic Sauce.

“The growth our brand has seen in recent months was never planned—but extremely exciting to see,” says Young Lee, CEO and founder of Flame Broiler. “As a brand, we’re especially proud to take over a new territory in our own backyard, and looking forward to what the Rathods will bring to the table.”
