Flame Broiler, known for serving simple, healthy and delicious rice bowls while on the go, continues its expansion in the New Year with an additional location in La Verne, California. The new location will be commemorated with an official grand opening on February 9, and feature a special buy-one, get-one for 50 percent off discount on all bowls or plates.
This will be the first Flame Broiler location for franchisee Josh Fuentes, who is looking forward to transitioning from previous work with the Southern California Gas Company to focusing on Flame Broiler full-time.
“While working for my previous company, I was always on the road and found very few options that are healthy, taste great and still considered “fast food”—until I tried Flame Broiler,” says Josh Fuentes, Flame Broiler franchisee. “I immediately fell in love with how simple, healthy and affordable it is, and kept making excuses to go back. It inspired me to get back into shape, clean up my diet and help people change their lifestyle the same way I did.”
Flame Broiler’s core menu features rice bowls that start at only 140 calories. The bowls are made with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables, and topped with chopped green onions. For an added flavor kick, guests are invited to top bowls off with Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce or its Korean BBQ-inspired Magic Sauce.
“The Inland Empire has always been a strong region for our brand, and I know La Verne will be no exception,” says Young Lee, CEO and founder of Flame Broiler. “As a brand, we're looking forward to watching Josh grow and developing a stronger presence within the community.”
