Giardino Gourmet Salads, a fast-casual salad concept from South Florida, will expand to Nashville, Tennessee. The three restaurants will be the franchise’s first outside of Florida. The Osman family, previous owners of Subway restaurants in various cities in Florida and Tennessee, will open these over the span of the next three years, starting in 2015.

“We are thrilled that our concept has garnered interest from successful restaurant owners of other established brands,” says Julio Ramirez, board member and former executive vice president of Global Operations for Burger King Corporation. “The Osmans have over 20 years of experience in owning and operating restaurants and will be valuable members of the Giardino family as we expand the brand beyond South Florida.”

Over the past 10 years, Giardino has grown to 10 restaurants in various areas of Dade and Broward County. In 2015, at least two more restaurants will open in South Florida: one in Weston and one in Downtown Doral.
