Focus Brands, the parent company of Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba, McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Schlotzsky’s has launched a new vaccination policy for all company-owned store locations and field-based associates, effective immediately.

Now through December 31, 2021, employees will receive two hours of paid time off for each COVID-19 vaccine shot – ultimately adding up to four PTO hours for employees who receive the two-shot vaccination. While getting vaccinated is not mandatory, Focus Brands’ leadership team is providing employees with the necessary tools and resources to educate themselves about the benefits of the vaccine and encouraging all to make the best decision for themselves.

“We are encouraged about the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines. Resources provided by the CDC continue to be critically important as we have conversations with our team members and brand franchisees,” says Eric Franklin, vice president of total rewards. “Additionally, we are continuing our protocols on wearing masks and gloves, conducting employee screenings and temperature checks, and using enhanced cleaning measures. The wellbeing of our associates, our guests and our brands’ franchisees is important to us.”
