Follett Corporation has added the Horizon 700 series to its industry-leading line of Chewblet ice machines.

The Horizon 700 series makes up to 675 pounds of ice in a 24-hour period and is available in self-contained models with air-cooled, water-cooled, or remote condensing.

In addition, customers have their choice of Chewblet or Micro Chewblet ice.

Horizon 700 series ice machines are available as top-mount models, or with RIDE remote ice-delivery equipment. Follett ice machines with RIDE technology can deliver ice through a tube up to 75 feet away.

When an ice and beverage dispenser is automatically filled using RIDE technology, operators can save time and money by easily accessing the dispenser hopper for cleaning. In addition, the heat, noise, and bulk of the ice machine can be removed from the customer area to provide an upscale drink station.

The new Horizon 700 series uses natural resources efficiently, with air-cooled units requiring only 5.2 kWh and 12 gallons of water per 100 pounds of ice produced.

These new models save space, as well. The 22.6-inch-wide model can be placed on 22-inch dispensers, under counters, and on wall-mount brackets.
