Jeff George, an Indianapolis native and former NFL quarterback, opened the doors to the newest Dairy Queen restaurant. George’s Westfield, Indiana, DQ Grill & Chill restaurant is located at 940 Tournament Trail.

The 5,000-square-foot DQ Grill & Chill restaurant can seat 93 guests, has two outside patios, and also offers a convenient drive-thru window. The Westfield DQ Grill & Chill restaurant has added more than 50 new jobs, contributing to Westfield’s employment growth. The new restaurant also will contribute to the state’s restaurant sales, which, according to the National Restaurant Association, are projected to increase by 3 percent this year.

“I’m excited to open my first DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in Westfield and welcome the community in to enjoy our full menu of craveable food items, signature and innovative treats, and Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies, and Julius Original drinks,” says George, who is marking his entry into the quick-service restaurant industry with the opening of this location.

The menu at the Westfield DQ Grill & Chill restaurant features a range of food options, including the DQ system’s value meal, $5 Buck Lunch, which is available daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at this location. Fans have a choice of two Crispy Chicken Wraps, a Bacon Cheeseburger, 3-piece Chicken Strip Lunch, or a Chili Cheese Dog, which are all served with fries, a beverage, and choice of a sundae. For just $1 more, fans also will have the option to upgrade their small sundae to a small Blizzard Treat.

The DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in Westfield also features treat favorites such as the iconic Blizzard Treats, DQ Cakes, and a wide variety of other soft-serve items, as well as the full line of Orange Julius fruit-blended beverages. All Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies, and Julius Original drinks are available in eight flavors including Orange, Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, Tripleberry, Mango Pineapple, Berry Pomegranate, OrangeBerry, and Piña Colada. The Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies are fresh-blended to order with real fruit and low-fat yogurt. Orange Julius Light Smoothies are 170 calories or less in a small size, contain no artificial sweeteners or flavors, and are yogurt-free.
