Whole Hog BBQ: The Gospel of Carolina Barbecue with Recipes from Skylight Inn and Sam Jones BBQ was published on May 7, 2019 by Ten Speed Press. In the book, Jones—alongside barbecue expert and co-author Daniel Vaughn—recounts the history of the Skylight Inn (which opened in 1947) and shares step-by-step instructions for cooking a whole hog at home. Readers will learn how to construct a pit from concrete blocks and how to build a burn barrel, along with two dozen classic family recipes ranging from cornbread and biscuit pudding to spareribs, smoked turkey, his signature burger, and more.
The Fox Bros. Catering Commissary is located at 134 Ottley Drive NE, Atlanta, Georgia.
