Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will open its third location in Springfield, Missouri, on Tuesday at 2305 N. Glenstone. Freddy’s has two sites in southern Springfield, including one at 3757 S. Glenstone in James River Towne Center last fall. Additionally, the fast-casual restaurant concept recently opened in Ozark at 1915 W. Marler Ln.

“Since the inception of our first Springfield location, we’ve met many regulars who will drive from the other side of town to get their Freddy’s fix,” says Joe Rheem, Director of Real Estate Development for 3Pointe Restaurant Group. “Our newest addition is in northern Springfield so that we can be a more convenient dining option for guests who reside or work in the area.”

The 3,500 square-foot, freestanding location seats 100 guests, with additional seating available on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Menu items include Freddy’s signature lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of freshly-churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“Whether you visit Freddy’s on the north side of town or further south, our teams work hard to make sure guests receive a consistent dining experience,” says Rheem. “Many of our guests agree that our quality menu items, combined with our focus on fast, friendly service, are what make Freddy’s worth the drive when a location isn’t exactly close to them.”

Co-founded in 2002 by Scott Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon, Freddy’s opened its first location in Wichita, Kan., offering a unique combination of cooked-to-order steakburgers, Chicago dogs, and other savory items along with its signature desserts prepared with premium frozen custard churned fresh throughout the day. Today, 270 Freddy’s restaurants serve a total of 30 states across the nation from California to Pennsylvania, Virginia and down the east coast states to Florida.
