Freddy’s Opens First Store of 2012 in Monument, Colorado

The wait is over for all Colorado Springs, Colorado, area citizens tired of driving to Denver for their Freddy’s fix. With the opening of Freddy’s 59th location in Monument, Colorado, today, the popular quick-service concept has big plans in the tri-lakes region.

Franchise partner Kyle Gerstner’s development agreement calls for three more stores in the metro area.

“Colorado has welcomed Freddy’s with a warm reception and great appreciation for our high-quality, 85 percent lean steakburgers,” Gerstner says. “I look forward to being a part of this community for a long time to come.

“Freddy’s focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients and cooked-to-order meals with a short wait time has made it a very popular destination for families. We value our guests and are committed to providing an atmosphere that feels like full-service hospitality with quick-service prices.”

Freddy’s first debuted in Colorado at Littleton in the fall of 2009.

Today’s opening marks the fifth Freddy’s in the state, and company COO Scott Redler recognizes the contribution of the franchise operators as the key to success in the Colorado.

“We have a very strong group of operators in Colorado,” Redler says. “Kyle Gerstner will benefit from their experience and familiarity in the market. The strength of our franchisees is in their focus on guest hospitality and fresh, high-quality food. We truly appreciate our guests in Colorado and the opportunity to serve them.”
