Roy Rogers Restaurants announced the opening of its newest corporate location in Burtonsville, Maryland. Located at 15662 Old Columbia Pike, the new restaurant opened to an enthusiastic crowd on December 21.

The Grand Opening celebration commemorated the 50th Roy Rogers Restaurant by giving away free Combo Meals for one full year to the first 50 guests (valued at $400 per prize). The opening will also be marked by a VIP breakfast and ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials. A community day event will also take place in early Spring 2013.

“As expected, Roy Rogers fans were lined up around the building in Burtonsville when we opened the doors of the new restaurant,” says Melanie Dyer, director of marketing for Roy Rogers Restaurants. “Our ‘Free Combo Meals for a Year’ promotion has become a favorite aspect of Grand Opening Day.”

The Plamondon Companies, franchisor of Roy Rogers Restaurants, will build another corporate location in early 2013—an in-line unit in Rockville, Maryland. Its newest franchise in La Plata, Maryland, which opened November 2012, is producing record sales. The company has also recently signed on three new franchisees.
