Dave Wolfgram, CEO of Boudin Bakery, announced that Boudin SF will unveil its newest location in Encinitas on June 6. To welcome the local community, Boudin SF will reward the first 100 customers in line with a free loaf of its Original San Francisco Sourdough French Bread every day for one year. The first spot in line will be reserved for North CountyFood Bank, the subsidiary of a local organization, North County Community Services. On June 4 and 5, the new location will host pre-opening events whose proceeds will be donated directly to a local charity, Conner’s Cause.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Boudin SF in Encinitas, our seventh Southern California location,” Wolfgram says. “This is the second of many Boudin SF locations opening in 2013, and we expect another positive reception from our guests. As always, we look forward to bringing a little bit of San Francisco to this new store and supporting the local Encinitas community through North County Food Bank and Conner’s Cause.”
As an expanding brand with seven Southern California locations, Boudin SF found a home in San Diego County’s laid-back yet high-quality lifestyle. Boudin SF also provides a family-friendly atmosphere for those wishing to eat at the restaurant, serving freshly made breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Boudin San Francisco tradition and featuring Boudin Bakery’s Original San Francisco Sourdough French Bread made fresh every day.

The location will host pre-opening services during breakfast, lunch, and dinner; guests will be asked to donate a pay-what-you-can contribution at the door for the organization. All proceeds from these events—open to the public—will be given directly to Conner’s Cause, which donates 100 percent of funds raised directly to the families in which they support.
