Pizza Hut customers can enjoy their favorite songs for free from eMusic after placing an online order at pizzahut.com. After selecting Pizza Mia pizza, Tuscani Pastas, WingStreet wings, or any other Pizza Hut favorites, customers will receive 75 free eMusic.com MP3 downloads, which can be played on any MP3 player including the iPod, iPhone, and Zune.
“The same customers who order online from pizzahut.com are also big fans of downloading music online, so this promotion is a natural fit,” says Bob Kraut, vice president of marketing communications for Pizza Hut.
When customers place an order online during the promotional period, November 5 through December 27, they’ll receive a link to a microsite where they can download 75 songs. Customers pick 25 free promotional songs from a special Pizza Hut playlist, plus any 50 songs from eMusic’s four million song catalog as part of a 14-day free trial of eMusic. If they don’t cancel the trial subscription, they’ll get 30 downloads a month for only $11.99–less than half the price of competing download sites.
