Einstein Bros. Bagels will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location in Glenview, Illinois, with a food giveaway on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.
Einstein Bros. will present the first 100 people in line with coupons valid for one free breakfast sandwich a week for one year.
“We can’t think of a better way to showcase the freshness and quality of our breakfast sandwich,” says Jeff O’Neill, chief executive officer for Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc.
To receive the coupons, the first 100 people in line must be at least 18 years old and have a valid photo ID. Those who qualify will be awarded a coupon book good for one breakfast sandwich per week for a year, equating to 52 sandwiches. Coupons are valid until March 30, 2011, and must be redeemed only at the 2797 Pfingsten Road restaurant in Glenview.
Einstein Bros. is also sending coupons to 20,000 local residents, making available to them such offers as a free bagel shmear, free lunch sandwich, free coffee, 50 percent off a bagel bucket, a buy-one-get-one-free lunch sandwich, and 25 percent off any purchase.
The local workforce will also be able to take advantage of the free offers. The buy-one-get-one-free deal and 50 percent off a bagel bucket with coupons are being mailed directly to their workplaces.
“We are in a growth mode, and with this opening we are adding to the tremendous momentum we’ve built in the Chicago-land market and elsewhere,” O’Neill says. “We are excited to strengthen our bonds with the community, and we welcome our new neighbors in for breakfast, lunch, or freshly baked, world-famous bagels anytime.”
The restaurant will be open between 5:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday.
“The opening of the new Glenview location confirms that demand for our brand is building,” O’Neill says. “We want to be the fastest growing fast-casual restaurant chain in America, and we are accelerating growth of corporate stores as well as increasing our focus on expansion through franchising and licensing.”
