Freebirds World Burrito is strengthening its commitment to the health and safety of its employees, also known as Tribe members, by offering incentives to receive the COVID-19 vaccine if they choose to do so.
Freebirds has provided resources to employees at all 55 locations across Texas with instructions on how to pre-register for the COVID-19 vaccine at their nearest vaccine hub. Tribe members can receive up to four hours of regular rate of pay to go get immunized.
“We don’t want any of our Freebirds Tribe members to choose between receiving a vaccine or coming to work,” says Alex Eagle, CEO at Freebirds World Burrito. “We encourage our Tribe to stop the spread of COVID-19 by taking the necessary steps to become immunized. Freebirds will pay up to four hours for employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.”
Freebirds has implemented numerous safety measures as a result of the pandemic, including curbside pick-up and streamlined takeout at all 55 locations across Texas.
