Freshii founder and CEO, Matthew Corrin, began his career dressing runway models and working under fashion icon, Oscar de la Renta. Today, the young and driven CEO is launching a nationwide expansion plan for his new brand, Freshii, moving from the competitive fashion industry to the equally competitive restaurant industry. Corrin incorporates what he learned from the retail and fashion world into Freshii.

To tackle nationwide expansion, Freshii is partnering with Fransmart, the Alexandria, Virginia-based franchise development company. Fransmart is credited with launching the successful franchise programs for many national franchise restaurant concepts such as Five Guys Burgers, zpizza, Qdoba, and several other chains. With 13 restaurants in Toronto, Canada, Freshii opened its first U.S. location across from the Sears Tower in the heart of Chicago, the company’s current headquarters.

“Our mission is to change eating habits in America by becoming the go-to place for a convenient meal or snack across the country,” says Matthew Corrin, founder and CEO of Freshii. “We believe that the public deserves healthy food wherever they live, work or play, and we are confident that Fransmart will help us reach all markets of the U.S. much faster than we could on our own. Partnering with Fransmart will facilitate our goal of becoming the most convenient choice for healthy meals and snacks in North America.”

Freshii offers an array of quick and nutritious options including salads, wraps, rice bowls, and soups in a “build your own” format, served in a fast, fun, hip and environmentally sustainable atmosphere.
