Freshii, the fast-growing health and wellness brand, is curing winter blues with a healthy spin on the classic Tortilla Soup. By providing guests with the flavors they crave, without having to sacrifice their resolutions, this limited time offer is the perfect complement to the season.

Freshii’s Lead Nutritionist, Andie Shapira, was inspired by the flavorful Mexican staple and couldn’t help but put her nutritious twist on the hearty dish. Tortilla Soup starts with a base of spicy chicken tortilla broth, loaded nutrient dense ingredients like brown rice, kale, black beans, corn, tomatoes, cilantro, and fresh avocado. Gluten-free tortilla chips accompany the bowl for an additional healthy crunch.

Melissa Gallagher, VP of Marketing at Freshii says, “Like many of our most popular menu items, the combination of Mexican flavors that our guests crave and the nutrients needed to fuel their lives led us to this winning combination. Freshii’s nutrition led menu has set us apart from our competitors and the introduction of Tortilla Soup is no different.”

To make a splash about their new soup, Freshii will be working with influencers across North America who share the brand’s passion for health and wellness—in addition to donating to the Mexican Red Cross on their behalf. Giving back is inherent to the Freshii culture, and supporting the country during this difficult time is especially meaningful. Not only does Freshii have locations in Guadalajara and Mexico City but the country has inspired the brand both in and out of the kitchen. “We wanted to celebrate and support the Mexican culture while sharing its well-loved flavors with the world—in the way we know best,” Gallagher adds.
