Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Denver-based fast casual restaurant concept featuring fresh and healthy Mediterranean flavors, today announced the grand opening of its third Colorado Springs location. Opening Wednesday, September 28, at The Promenade Shops at Briargate (1685 Briargate Pky., Suite 323), the new restaurant is the 14thColorado-based location for the concept.

The newest Garbanzo opens on the heels of the first Fort Collins location, which opened September 1, and joins two existing Colorado Springs locations in Broadmoor Towne Center and First and Main Town Center. Garbanzo also has nine Denver-metro restaurants located in Highlands, Greenwood Village, Aurora, Littleton, Park Meadows, Highlands Ranch, University Hills, Lone Tree, and Glendale, and one in Boulder on Twenty Ninth Street mall.

“Adding a third restaurant to our Colorado Springs lineup is very exciting for us and nicely rounds out the area’s northern, western, and southern markets,” says Alon Mor, Garbanzo founder and CEO. “Since opening our first Colorado Springs Garbanzo in June 2010, we have been warmly welcomed by the community and have greatly enjoyed sharing with them our made-from-scratch, authentic Mediterranean cuisine.”

On grand opening day, guests will have the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for the chance to win a free entrée, Garbanzo gift card, reusable Garbanzo tote bag, and other prizes. The new Colorado Springs location will partner with and help raise funds for The Home Front Cares, a local nonprofit organization that provides support for Colorado's military families of all services who have been impacted by deployment in harm's way.

Following the grand opening, Garbanzo will hold several giveaways – from a cruiser bike to an e-reader – throughout October and into November to further the new store excitement.
