Colorado-based Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a fast-casual restaurant concept serving Mediterranean cuisine, announced the awarding of franchise development rights to Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services, one of the world’s leading airport foodservice and retail companies.

Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services is planning to open its initial Garbanzo location in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport during the summer of 2013. This is the first of numerous restaurants in its preferred partnership agreement with the Mediterranean concept.

Garbanzo has firm qualification criteria for potential franchisees. Only experienced, successful multiunit restaurant operators who are well capitalized and interested in additional multiunit growth with the Garbanzo brand are considered.
