Giardino Gourmet Salads, a premiere South Florida-based fast casual salad concept focused on garden-to-bowl nutrition, launched its largest new menu rollout in recent years with the addition of its My Big Fat Greek Bowl, Tuscan Sun, and El Caribe grain bowls. These new Grain Bowls reflect the brand’s mission to build the most diverse selection of ingredients for guests across their bowl, salad and wrap menu.

“We’re thrilled about these new bowl additions as they really highlight the diverse flavor profiles that reflect the cosmopolitan makeup of our customer base,” says Ody Lugo, co-founder and board member of Giardino Gourmet Salads. “While we serve food with fresh and healthier-for-you ingredients, we also aim to create memorable and craveable experiences that make you want to come back. Customers responded so well to our initial test that we decided to immediately roll it out to our entire network of restaurants across the Southeast. This new menu launch is part of our overall culinary vision to incorporate flavors and ingredients from around the world while taking into account evolving consumer tastes and preferences.”

These new grain bowls reflect the latest step forward for the brand as it continually works to redefine Nutritional Empowerment while incorporating the greatest variety of ingredients across the industry on behalf of its customers.

My Big Fat Greek Bowl: quinoa, arugula, plum tomatoes, cucumber, black olives, feta cheese, hummus, pita chips and an olive vinaigrette

Tuscan Sun: brown rice, baby leaf lettuce, sun dried tomatoes, garbanzo beans, shredded parmesan, red bell peppers, 100 percent natural chicken breast, Caesar dressing and basil pesto

El Caribe: jasmine rice, iceberg lettuce, plum tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, black beans, 100 percent natural chicken breast, plantain chips and citrus cilantro vinaigrette

“At Giardino Gourmet Salads, we understand that great and nutritional food can be served fast to meet the needs of our guests,” adds Lugo. “By putting Nutritional Empowerment back into the hands of our consumers, we’re putting them in charge of building the right salad, wrap or grain bowl that fits their mood and lifestyle. Furthermore, this expansion of our bowl menu affords guests even more options to choose from based on their craving or interest.”

What sets Giardino Gourmet Salads apart from the competition is the ability to customize the largest variety of salads, wraps and grain bowls in the market, which feature over 65 ingredients including fresh chopped vegetables, all natural proteins, homemade croutons, deli-style salad mixtures, and a large variety of dressings, among other items. Giardino Gourmet Salads currently has 15 restaurants open across South Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee and was founded by Ody and Kenny Lugo, a former teacher and firefighter respectively, who developed the vision for the brand in Coral Gables in 2004.

The My Big Fat Greek Bowl, Tuscan Sun and El Caribe grain bowls are also available for catering and delivery, which provide guests with additional fresh choices and options at both business and social occasions.
