GiftAMeal, an innovative cause-marketing program that turns customer photos into meals for local families in need, announced their latest restaurant partnership with Gong cha. Founded in Taiwan, this premium beverage franchise serves various states across the country, including Texas, Florida, New York, and more.
Gong cha is a popular global beverage brand specializing in handcrafted bubble tea featuring genuine and carefully selected ingredients to cater to each customer’s preferences. The brand’s mission aligns with their core values of delivering quality, integrity, respect, empathy, and innovation, all intended to inspire the human spirit and promote happiness. The menu options include a variety of Milk Foam, Milk Tea, Coffee Beverages, and more.
With GiftAMeal, each time a guest takes a photo of their order from Gong cha, a donation will be made to a local food bank near that location to help provide a meal to a family in need. Guests are then invited to share their photo on social media to provide additional meals. The program is free for guests to participate in, and is funded by Gong cha. *Valid at participating U.S. locations only (CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OK, PA, RI, SC, TX).
“Our partnership with Gong cha is a testament to the power of combining great taste with greater purpose,” said Andrew Glantz, Founder & CEO of GiftAMeal. “GiftAMeal and Gong cha are now stirring up change one meal at a time, and together, we’re brewing a legacy of compassion and community that’s truly remarkable.”
After a successful four location GiftAMeal pilot in Chicago that provided 1,780 meals to families in need, Gong cha is excited to expand its impact.
“At Gong cha, we believe in giving back to the communities that have warmly embraced us,” says Missy Maio, Director of Marketing – The Americas for Gong Cha. “Teaming up with GiftAMeal sends a powerful message to our customers: when you choose Gong Cha, you’re not only enjoying a delicious drink, but you’re also making a real difference locally. Together with our customers, we’re working to spread joy and nourishment to those in need, one drink at a time. Our goal is to reach 20,000 meals donated to families in need by the end of the year.”
